Policy

NACHBUR takes its responsibility in industry towards society and the environment seriously. In demonstrating compliance with environmental codes of practice we aim to build confidence with customers, staff, partners, authorities, suppliers and society as a whole. Systematic management of our environmental resources requires both taking initiative and maintaining our ongoing responsibility.
Knowing that global resources are limited and that ecosystems are being increasingly stretched, we are committed to environmentally oriented management.

Management

By drawing up suitable codes of practice we aim to reach our environmental targets and, at the same time, continually improve our performance. In so doing so we will comply with environmental laws and regulations.

Production

Whilst taking into account financial considerations we are concerned that our production be environmentally friendly. We are conscious of the impact of our production, packaging and logistic processes on the environment. Priority will be given to those suppliers giving us competitive offers who share our ecological principles.

Resources

We aim to conserve resources and to keep harmful waste and materials to a minimum. Unavoidable waste products are collected in a separating system and then fed in a suitable incineration respectively recycling- process.

Staff awareness

Training is important when raising our staff’s awareness for environmental issues at the workplace. It is our employees who play a crucial role in putting the company’s principles into action and contributing to continual improvement.
